Bronwyn has had an active high school life. She has been on the debate team where she went to provincials. She also raced for BlackJack’s Nordic Ski Team and coached the younger children, and has participated in Girl Guides. Her high academic achievements landed her a place at a SHAD camp in Newfoundland during the summer of 2015 and prestigious scholarship to the University of Alberta. She has decided, however, to pursue a degree in International Economics at the University of British Columbia.

Alvise came to the Centre from Turino, Italy to pursue his alpine ski racing with Red Mountain Academy. When he wasn’t on the slopes training or racing Alvise was working hard on his English and exploring many courses. Through a combination of his Italian credits and the credits he earned while in Rossland, BC, Alvise graduated with BC high school diploma. He plans to return to Italy and pursue his racing and attend law school.

She graduated early in 2016, enabling her to travel Europe before attending Queens University on a $32,000 Chancellor’s scholarship.
