With the flexibility and innovative learning structure at 7S, Jasmine has been able to balance an exceptional high school education with life as a Nordic Ski racer.  Since Grade 8 she has trained with Black Jack Cross Country Ski Club while studying, competing in both the Youth Olympic Games and the World Junior Championships:

In 2021, Jasmine's 18th place finish in the 15K at The World Junior Champs in Finland is the best ever result for a female athlete from BC!

“Seven Summits Centre for Learning has been a great experience for me.  I’ve been able to use its flexibility to prioritize great opportunities in sport and to gain important experiences.  I’ve been happy, the environment is a positive one and I always have something to look forward to when I go to school.’

Many Olympic hopefuls are built in Rossland and have been able to pursue their sporting passions by attending 7S.  Jasmine's brother Remi, a 7S Alumni who studies Physics at Harvard University, is among them.  He has already made Canadian Nordic Ski history.  READ ABOUT HIS ACHIEVEMENTS HERE.  In 2021, as the youngest Canadian in the field at the World Nordic Ski Champs in Germany, he also achieved a career best when he skieed to 39th place in the Skiathlon with a time of 1:16.36.3

Molly Miller, who also attended 7S is a Black Jack Skier who finished 30th in the 2021 World Junior Champs in FInland, making her the 2nd fastest female ever from BC in a distance event at World Junor Champs!
