Merry Christmas from the 7S Crew

Have a safe, happy holiday!

The last day of school before the Christmas holiday break was spent crafting, sledding in pajamas, wearing crazy festive head pieces, watching National Lampoons Christmas Vacation movie and enjoying hot chocolate as well as popcorn together.

It was a great way to end the year!  CLICK THIS VIDEO TO SEE THE FESTIVITIES INSIDE AND OUT OF THE CLASSROOM: :  File christmas_is_coming_3.mp4

The festive fabric trees pictured were made in our Textiles class by students in Grades 8 & 9.  They're led by our multi talented Operations Manager Robin, who is a dab hand at anything that requires a sewing machine, needle or cotton thread.   The material was part of a massive bundle of fabric donated to us by the family of the late Sylvia Mair who was President of our local Quilting Association.  We hope Sylvia's love and passion for quilting will pass on to some of our students as they develop skills in the basics of the artform alongside crocheting, knitting and mask making, when classes resume in the New Year..
