Rossland Figure Skating Club

Start off on  the right track

The Rossland Figure Skating Club offers preliminary skating skills in CanSkate, which start you off on the right track, whether it be for Hockey, Figure Skating or even Speed Skating. RFSC is a Skate Canada Club and also offers STARskate for more advanced skaters.

The Rossland Figure Skating Club is a non-profit society that is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors at the Rossland Arena. Their programs range from CanSkate & Pre-CanSkate, Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate programs for beginners, to Rising Stars (Upper CanSkate levels 5 and 6, and Star 1), to the StarSkate program. The StarSkate program offers the development of fundamental figure skating skill in the areas of skills, free skate, ice dance and artistic- and synchronized skating (Star 2 and Gold skaters).

Their latest addition to the team, RFSC Head Coach Kaleigh Hole, was a junior and senior national team pair skater who brings valuable experience as an athlete, as well as a coach. She has been a BC-certified Skate Canada coach since 2017, training skaters from CanSkate, StarSkate and Juvenile to National competitors, involving all disciplines: free skate, skills, dance, stroking, and choreography. Kaleigh is a great asset to the team and a role model to young talent!
